Conference Description

ComCap19, presented by the National Coalition for Community Capital (NC3), offers a unique educational and networking opportunity for all those working toward equitable, resilient, and engaged communities. Join community leaders, ecosystem builders, entrepreneurs, investors, citizens, and practitioners from across the country to share community capital models, mechanisms, and best practices to grow their local economies in ways that are participatory and promote shared prosperity.

Taking place from June 11-13, 2019 in Detroit, MI, ComCap19 will feature topics including investment crowdfunding, restorative economics, cross-sector partnerships for collaborative economic development, financing cooperative businesses, supporting green energy and local food economies, and democratic governance of capital. Speakers include Douglas Rushkoff, Rodney Foxworth, Amy Cortese, Michael Shuman, Y. Elaine Rasmussen, Oran Hesterman, and many more!
